The Amusement Wire started in October 2010 as a small theme park news website. We have expanded into a larger website covering many park news stories in a professional manner. The website was founded by Brian Mitchell, a theme park professional, who has a love for the industry. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google Plus, App Store, and Google Play. We have also been featured in a special publication on Country Outfitter talking about 11 photos of the best roller coasters that will make you laugh out loud. Scott Schaffer of Upstop Media and Brian Mitchell of The Amusement Wire were featured as the #2 photo riding Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA. The still photo was from a reverse POV and was uploaded to Instagram before being featured in the publication.
