Cedar Point continues to construct Valravn, the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest dive roller coaster. The park has been hard at work along with the construction crews at putting each piece together for the May debut of the ride. The weather has been very seasonable for crews to not have any delays in ensuring that they remain on schedule for finishing the ride on time.

Construction crews began putting in the highest support column before putting up the highest section of track, which weighs in at 95,000 pounds. The highest section on Valravn is at 223 feet in the air, which will put Cedar Point as the only park in the world with five roller coasters at over 200 feet tall.

Construction progress:

Crews will continue to build the first turnaround after the lift hill into where Valravn drops 214 ft towards earth. Once the first drop is completed the crews will connect that section with the top section of track.
