IAAPA 2017 has officially wrapped up in Orlando, FL. Each year the expo is held at the Orange County Convention Center and attracts various Amusement Park operators and Press Outlets. This year one of our affiliates, Coaster Addict, attended the event and covered many aspects of what various companies have to offer. Most of what you would find at the trade show is typically anything you would need to operate your business in the industry of fun. There are many arcade games, food, rides, and typically anything you could imagine to help you run your business of fun. Virtual Reality products were the headliner of this year’s event as many booths were marketing off specific products.

Some of the main highlights from this year’s expo included the various new in 2018 announced attractions holding official unveiling of their ride vehicles. SeaWorld Orlando unveiled the main vehicle for their new water ride:
Infinity Falls. Silver Dollar City unveiled their ride vehicle for their new ride: Time Traveler,
and Six Flags Over Georgia unveiled Twisted Cyclone. All of these new attractions are scheduled to open for the 2018 season. Some of the other exhibits at the expo had many fan favorites from all of the delicious innovative food to some rides or attractions you would find at your local county fair. Central Park Funland, a complex located in Fredericksburg, VA, is always in attendance at the IAAPA expo. They will be debuting a crazy eight spinning coaster in 2018. Many news organizations and industry related websites/outlets participated in the week long event that brings people from all over the world to the Orlando area. There are miles of show floor to cover and many new products to get a look at.
