Kings Dominion is currently enjoying a successful 2016 season. After the debut of Soak City in 2015, the park debuted Delirium in 2016, a swinging pendulum attraction. The success of the park relies on the oversight of the Vice President & General Manager. The park has been overseen by Pat Jones, who has held the position since 2007. The park has made a statement that Pat Jones will no longer hold this position and that she will relocate to Carowinds to take over as the Vice President & General Manager.
Who will fill the position of VP & GM at Kings Dominion? Please welcome Gary Chadwick, Kings Dominion’s new Vice President & General Manager, who has 13 years of leadership experience in the amusement park industry. Chadwick began his career in the theme park industry in 1999. He most recently served as the Vice President of Food & Retail Operations at Carowinds. He has previous experience at Kings Dominion where he worked as a Department Manager of Retail Operations from 2003 to 2007.
“I am very excited to be back to where my career started” Chadwick said. “I love being able to work in an environment that is dynamic and constantly changing. Kings Dominion is a fantastic park. I look forward to the future and continuing to provide family fun to the region.”
Kings Dominion is open for daily operations until Labor Day weekend. You can purchase tickets online at the best available prices ever, or purchase a season pass which gives you unlimited visits in 2016.
