The much anticipated 2017 season is upon us here on the east coast. Six Flags New England will open the gates on Saturday, April 8. The park will debut a new mixed game virtual reality experience Galactic Attack to begin the season. In May, the park will officially debut “The Joker” a one of a kind 4-D free fly coaster. In the fall, the much anticipated Fright Fest returns and many of us wonder what’s next for a park like Six Flags New England with the upcoming winter months ahead. The park has announced that “Holiday In The Park” will debut this season and will be the largest holiday celebration in the New England area.
The question asked is what will park guests expect from Holiday In The Park at Six Flags New England? The park will showcase over one million LED lights, beautiful Christmas trees, thrilling rides, enchanting shows and state-of-the-art decor that will create a perfect magical atmosphere. The Holiday In The Park event has been successful at sister properties of Six Flags New England although each park has a particular touch of pulling off a unique version of it. In addition to over 50 operating rides there will be opportunities to visit with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and all of your favorite holiday characters, nightly snowfall, warm and toasty fire pits . Holiday In The Park will be the largest holiday celebration in the New England area when it debuts.
“Holiday in the Park will be a wonderful must-see spectacle for families to enjoy. We are thrilled to offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy a summer of thrills including New England’s largest water park—Hurricane Harbor, our scariest Fright Fest ever and then complete the year with a trip to the North Pole,” says Six Flags New England Park President John Winkler. “The benefits of a 2017 season pass or membership to Six Flags New England just got better with the addition of Holiday in the Park.” Holiday In The Park is scheduled to debut November 24, 2017 at Six Flags New England.
