Six Flags New England has officially opened the much anticipated new attraction of 2017, The Joker 4-D Free Fly Coaster. This new experience will take riders up a vertical elevator style lift hill to a height of 120 feet before spinning at a fast pace before returning to the ground below. Six Flags has introduced this ride style at sister parks previously and is proud to select the New England region as a recipient for this. Other Six Flags parks to open The Joker this year include Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Over Texas. The Joker at Six Flags New England will deliver on every single aspect of innovation, thrills, and theme to the iconic DC Comics villain. If you are looking to get a spin of tricks in 2017, The Joker is one ride that you must experience.
Quick stats about The Joker 4-D Free Fly Coaster:
- One-of-a-kind onboard magnetic technology with multiple smooth head-over-heels free-fly flips providing guests the feeling of weightlessness as they soar outside the confines of a traditional track
- A 120-foot tall hill that is ascended by an elevator-style lift straight up
- Two beyond 90-degree raven drops giving the sensation of free-falling
- Five trains that seats up to eight and has riders “face their fears” by allowing them to physically face each other as they tumble head-over-heels
“We are thrilled to open our 13th coaster here at the Coaster Capital of New England. THE JOKER 4D Free Fly Coaster utilizes the latest innovative technology, and perfectly captures the warped and unpredictable nature of The Joker. THE JOKER™ 4D Free Fly Coaster is the first of its kind in New England and like no other ride our guests have ever experienced. This coaster is a great complement to our already stellar ride lineup and will be a big hit with thrill-seekers” said Park President John Winkler.
